Source and evidence standard
App-specific facts should come from a current first-party source controlled by the relevant publisher or operator. A matching logo, copied description, search snippet or third-party mirror is not enough to establish ownership, version or official download status.
When reliable evidence is missing, fields remain labelled “Not confirmed” or “Not connected”. This is more useful than filling a page with guessed values that may create a false sense of certainty.
- Prefer current publisher or operator material
- Compare the final domain and legal identity
- Keep an evidence trail before changing factual fields
